Most fans celebrated Star Wars Day by posting their favorite quotes, pictures, or other variety of things, followed by “May the 4th Be With You” tag line. In fact, I did it myself. It was a fun way to celebrate the biggest franchise in Hollywood.
Fans in Melbourne, Australia, however, took it to a completely different level. Several fans of the series came together to assemble the world’s largest Millennium Falcon in LEGO, and it’s a sight to behold!
According to the Telegraph the duo of Dan Steininger and son Chris Steininger and a team of volunteers spent two days and around 250,000 LEGO pieces building this fine piece of art. The final model is 5 meters, or over 16 feet, wide.
Dan and Chris Steininger probably have one of the best jobs in the world as they’re two of seven people around the world that actually get paid to do stuff like this. I want their job!
