Hey Honey, I bought this Rock Band 4 guitar [PAX East]

Hi Honey,

Hey so you know how I’m at PAX East this weekend, and I’m checking out a lot of awesome games and stuff. And you know how Rock Band is one of our favorite party games to play with friends, right? That one Christmas toga party was already awesome, but playing “Should I stay or should I go” on repeat on Rock Band made it that much more amazing.

So guess what?

THERE’S A NEW ROCK BAND GAME COMING THIS YEAR!

Yup, Harmonix announced Rock Band 4, which is way cool because I’m definitely going to pick it up. Imagine all the great times that we’ll have with friends! Check out this video below. It’s got a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff and a few glimpses at the game… it looks really neat!

Anyhoo, I stopped by their booth here at PAX East and guess what? They had these really cool SPECIAL EDITION guitars for the game that you can ONLY get by preordering here! They have a special design on them, and the color isn’t one you’ll be able to get when the game comes out. They had one here, too, and it looked great! At least, I thought I saw it behind the table, but whatever. They’re most definitely going to be collector’s items, I think.

So, um, I know we’re waiting for our tax return to come through, but I kind of preordered one. It’s only $100, and ordering it was as easy as walking up to their booth and punching my info into their iPad register thingy (and swiping my credit card).

So yeah, I’ll make sure I’m super stingy the rest of the weekend here, and I’ll survive on cheap bagels and candy.

Please don’t divorce me.
