Nintendo definitely seems to have a plan for regular rollout of amiibo figures. The company just announced eleven more figures arriving in January and February to join their existing lineup of eighteen, bringing the total to twenty-nine.
The new figures are notable for including the first third party characters to the platform, Mega Man and Sonic. If the figures continue to be related to Super Smash Bros, then Pac-Man and others can’t be far behind. The game currently has an astounding FIFTY ONE characters, which should keep regular updates possible for the company. I just want the Koopa Kids and Duck Hunt Dog.

- Bowser
- Toon Link
- Ike
- King DeDeDe
- Lucario
- Meta Knight
- Rosalina (and Luma)
- Sheik
February:
- Mega Man
- Sonic
- Shulk
