Some bad news for football fans hoping to get their hands on the Madden 15 demo. The game will not see a public demo available on the Xbox or PlayStation marketplaces, as has been the norm for the franchise since Madden NFL 06 in 2005.
Instead, Electronic Arts will be making the demo available for customers of its recently announced EA Access subscription service currently only available on Xbox One.
The service, which ended its closed beta and went live for everyone today, gives players access to a catalog of EA games for $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
It’s unclear whether or not the demo will find its way to other platforms or be available outside of EA Access after release.
