Following a leak last night, Electronic Arts has officially released a trailer for Visceral Games’ Battlefield Hardline, the latest in the company’s premier first-person shooter franchise. Hardline is notable for a series-new theme — cops and robbers — as opposed to its usual concern with the military. EA has also locked down a release date of October 21 for the game, where it will come to the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 platforms.
Expect to see a lot more of Battlefield Hardline within the next week — the trailer mentions the arrival of a 5 minute gameplay demo on the official website. Odds are, this demo won’t be the same as the one we expect to see at EA’s E3 press conference on Monday. And speaking of E3, be sure to stay posted on SideQuesting all next week.
