Ubisoft Montreal producer Vincent Pontbriand took the stage at Microsoft’s E3 2014 media briefing to show off Assassin’s Creed: Unity, the first Assassin’s Creed title developed from the ground up exclusively for new consoles.
In the on-stage demo it was revealed that the game will allow you and up to four co-op partners to stab your way through 18th century France in the midst of revolution, which Pontbriand felt completely redefined the Assassin’s Creed experience.
Whether the entire game is playable in co-op or just specific modes is still unknown, but the dynamic crowds and co-op dude stabbin’ seem like a nice refinement on an old formula.
