Ubisoft revealed the next entry in the Rainbow Six series at their E3 media briefing today. Rainbow Six: Siege is the replacement for the now officially cancelled Rainbow Six: Patriots, and is in development at Ubisoft Montreal.
The gameplay demo showed a multiplayer match wherein a team must rescue a hostage from the opposition. Destructibility played a key role in the demo, with players using explosives to blow through walls and floors to get the drop on enemies.
The game is said to be in the early stages of development, but what was shown doesn’t really seem like it. Only time will tell.
