The long-rumored Xbox One re-release of Halo 1-4 was officially announced today and confirmed for a November 11 release during Microsoft’s E3 2014 media briefing.
Dubbed Halo: The Master Chief Collection, it will include every Halo map, dedicated servers, original multiplayer and engines. Halo 3 and 4 will ship more or less intact, but Halo 2 has received “the full anniversary treatment. Additionally, the games are said to run at 60fps at 1080p.
Halo: Nightfall, the video series that leads up to Halo 5 will release with The Master Chief Collection. The Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta was also teased in the trailer shown.
