Hello again fellow WoW players. On last edition of World of Artcraft, which I know wasn’t that long ago, we talked about the male Tauren. This time Blizzard didn’t take long to release the new/updated look for the female Draenei. No, this is not the April Fools joke that Blizzard pulled on us. This is an actual update with Chris Robinson, Senior Art Director.
Before I show you all the updated look, the guild I am a part of is an Alliance guild and I have a female Draenei hunter. But my heart will forever be a part of the Horde.
Granted even though this was a quick update on Blizzard’s part that doesn’t mean that they did not show what the new model of the Draenei will look like.
Chris Robinson writes on the blog,
Animation is a big factor for the female Draenei specifically, so it’s important to keep it in mind when comparing the two. The original female Draenei has some fairly extrem posing that happens when she’s animated. If you were to see the static model of the original without any posing you’d see that it looks ver similar to the new one.
Even though the new design of the Draenei may not be that much of a difference, you can clearly see the detail of the character model has been increased. Joe Keller, Senior Character Artist, and Tyson Murphy, Lead Character Artist worked on the new Draenei model along with Chris Robinson.
Stay tuned for the next episode of The World of Artcraft featuring Updates from someone from Blizzard.
