If you’re like us, you absolutely LOVE Frank Miller’s work. Though he’s maybe best known to the masses for penning 300, his comic history goes way, way back. In fact, the latest Dark Knight trilogy is a direct translation of his vision of the Batman character in the 80s. His previous stellar feature film, Sin City, was a shot-for-shot remake of the comic books. “Brilliant, wonderful, and awe inspiring” are just a few of the words that I bring up when remembering it. Now, the long-awaited sequel is finally upon us, after considerable delays over the last few years.
The trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For was set to debut prior to the 300 sequel, but instead leaked early online. No worries! It’s still pretty bad ass, bringing in more of the characters from the books that tie the overarching plot together.

The other trailer that popped up today is possibly as different from Sin City as can get. Frank tells the tale of an indie rocker and his band as they hit the roads on the way to SXSW. The catch? Frank has a giant paper-mache head that he wears and refuses to take off. It’s his schtick, and no one has seen him without it. An even greater catch? Michael Fassbender plays Frank.
YUP. Sign my ass up.
