Whoa. I didn’t even know this movie was being made. Out of the blue this morning comes the first teaser trailer for next year’s (2015) Peanuts film.

Everything seems absolutely perfect in this trailer, from the starting sunlight crest off of Charlie’s noggin, to the mix of computer-generated and hand-scribbled art, to the voices and animation style. There’s a softness to the colors and textures that really add some life to it. Now there’s no way you’re not smiling the rest of the day.

Charles Schulz would be proud, at least for this trailer.
