Turtle Beach, one of the leading brands when it comes to video game headsets, have signed a deal with Sony to create official headsets for the PlayStation 4.
The first headsets will be shown to the world this summer, either at E3 or Gamescom, and will be released this fall.
There will be two models: a tournament-grade edition, as well as consumer-friendly edition. To top it off, the same headsets can be used for the PlayStation Vita — it’s nice to have some good quality sound output coming from our little friend there.
What this means is that we will be getting a complete wireless headset for the PlayStation 4 without having to plug our current headsets into the DualShock 4 for a less than optimal solution. It also means the partnership Turtle Beach just created with Sony could put it in a great position to make full use of PlayStation 4 connectivity for its other products.
Hey, we’re all ears.
Get it?
