It may have seemed like a natural idea when the Wii U was first announced, but the company is now bringing its Nintendo DS games to the console’s Virtual Console. Announced during today’s investor relations presentation, the company felt that it had solved the technical issues preventing the hurdle from taking place.
Sadly, nothing similar was announced for the 3DS, as far as our Google Translate can tell us.
The company will also soon reveal its real plans for the NFC technology built into the GamePad, citing the extensive and ongoing R&D behind the endeavors there. It’ll be more than just a poopie Pokemon game, we swear.
No word on any dates for the deployment of either of these, but we reckon that those announcements won’t be far off.
