SideQuesting’s #7in7 challenge asks us to clear out our backlogs this month, the slowest when it comes to game releases and the best when it comes to free days to play through our piles of shame.
Well, that went by a lot faster than any of us imagined, huh? It’s August already! Sheesh! We extended the #7in7 by a couple of extra days, but here it is: the Finale.
So, did you get all of your games completed? Did you get 50% of them in? I… didn’t. In fact, with the nicer weather and a bit of traveling, I ended up avoiding consoles longer than I had planned. However, had it not been for the challenge then I would have never been as focused as I was on the days that I actually DID get a chance to play. I (personally) ended up switching a few games out during the last week or so, to ones that were based on handhelds and I could take with me to the office or on a trip.
Also: Animal Crossing took up a lot of my time, and well… gotta get them Bells, yo!

I ended up switching out a couple games for other games that were in my pile. I had a stack of DS games that needed completing, and a couple WIi U games I was eyeing to trade in for Pikmin 3.
