The Playstation 4 will be able to stream its games to the Vita through a new form of remote play.
The new service essentially transforms Sony’s handheld into a Wii U gamepad. The major difference seems to be that the game streaming will be available with all PS4 games, unlike Wii U games which do not always feature streaming.
The feature was shown off live during Sony’s See the Future press conference using Knack, a newly announced Playstation 4 title.
This new version of remote play is made possible by Gaikai’s streaming technology, which allows the Playstation 4 to act as a server for the Vita.
