Bungie, once the long-time Microsoft house of the Chief, had already announced its new IP Destiny for the PlayStation 3. Back then — earlier this week, actually — only the Xbox 360 and PS3 were known consoles for the game. Now, it looks as though the PlayStation 4 will be leading the charge.
Eric Hirschberg, joined by several members of the Bungie development team, came on stage during Sony’s showcase of the PS4 today to show off their undying love for the console, citing the level of the PS4’s online connectivity and the game’s persistent world as a perfect relationship. There will be “exclusive content” coming to the PS4, the devs said, and more will be announced as the months carry on. While that content wasn’t announced, we surely believe that it involves Skylanders.
