Spooky (?) Borderlands 2 Costumes
So this isn’t really scary at all, but for some reason Gearbox decided to release “Halloween themed” costumes for Borderlands 2 today, but they’re all definitively bee-themed. That’s right, bee-themed, as in the insects that make honey. The costumes can be downloaded by inputting the SHiFT codes in the game’s ‘Extras’ section of the start menu, but the codes will only work until November 4. Why Gearbox associates these with Halloween and scary things, the world will probably never know. Perhaps Randy Pitchford was terrorized by a giant bee as a boy, and decided to spread his terror to everyone who bought his game.

The new game will this time be developed by thechineseroom, who previously made the critically acclaimed Dear Esther. Scariest part about the trailer? No pigs! They’re out there, hiding, waiting.

Halo 4 Reaching Out To Triple Kill Sexism
In an interview with Gamespot, 343 Industries’ leader Bonnie Ross and executive producer Kiki Wolfkill described to Laura Parker the steps they’ll be taking to stamp out sexism in the game’s online multiplayer. The pair stated that Xbox Live moderators will hand out a lifetime ban to anyone caught being sexist, racist, or otherwise discriminatory.
Ross and Wolfkill went on to explain how they feel it is a developer’s duty to help put an end to these problems, both through moderation policies and the development of the game itself. “With Halo 4, we were very deliberate in thinking about who should be female and who should be male in the game, and if we came off stereotypical, we went back to question what we were doing and why,” said Ross.
