This month in their rewards catalog, Nintendo considerably dropped the amount of games that they’re offering for download. Last month seemed to be overflowing with content, whereas this month we only get Electroplankton and Mario Tennis.
Electroplankton Rec-Rec is the novel 3DS’ eShop app that rips the mode out of the awesome early DS game about music creation. Rec-Rec allows us to record sounds in a simple way, adjusting them by dropping different microscopic creatures on the field. It’s actually quite fun, and for just 100 Club Nintendo coins it’s well worth the pickup. It’s available until July 15th.
Mario Tennis is the N64 iteration of the game. Apparently tennis is popular this Summer at Nintendo, since there’s a new 3DS game, a re-release of the Gamecube game, and now this Virtual Console game gracing our wallets. It’s a basic tennis game, and there are much better options out there than losing 150 coins on it. It’s available until July 22nd
