Nintendo has just announced the 3DS LL (3DS XL to us). The device is bigger, rounder, and still lacks a second analog stick.

- The upper screen is now 4.88 inch screen, up to 90% more viewing area than the old 3DS
- Lower screen is now 4.18 inches, for 90% more viewing area
- It’ll have a little longer battery life, but the exact amount was unspecified.
- Will be available in White, Red/Black, and Silver/Black in Japan, Red/Black and Blue/Black in US
- Coming July 28th in Japan for 18,900 yen
- Coming August 19th in US for $199.99
