When you get sick of your Lego games being based off of whatever franchise is hot that year, come check in with TT Games. Lego City: Undercover looks to reinvigorate the Lego franchise with a new IP, giving players a huge city to explore and a bunch of vehicles to drive. At first glance it looks like baby Grand Theft Auto for babies, but after watching the trailer, it looks like so much more than that. There’s parkour, x-ray vision, witty dialog, and a thirteen year old Matrix reference.
Let me just look at my checklist…. yup. Those are all my requirements for Game of the Year.
Lego City: Undercover is set for release this holiday with a 3DS version on the way as well.
