Assassin’s Creed 3 Confirmed
We’ve been told on several occasions over the last year or so by Ubisoft that Assassin’s Creed III would arrive right after the AssCreed II trilogy was complete. True to their word, during a conference call to investors today the company’s CEO Yves Guillemot declared October 30th to be the day that we would see the next entry in the series. No further details were divulged, but you can bet that there will be assassin’s creeding stuff — and being sneaky about it.

Screens & video of the Walking Dead game spill out like guts
Perfectly timed with the return of the television series, Telltale Games have released images, plot details and the first developer’s diary of the Walking Dead adventure game. The game tells the story of escaped convict Lee Everett during the month that series protagonist Rick Grimes is in his coma. Hopefully this can succeed where Jurassic Park‘s interpretation failed, as our fingers are crossed way to much these days.

A dickhole G4 reviewer pisses off fans and David Jaffe
“Don’t get into an argument with your readers.” That’s one of the general rules of writing. Writers put together an entertaining, meaningful piece of work for people to enjoy. That’s not necessarily the case with G4’s Jason D’Aprile, who’s review of Twisted Metal was put to task by the site’s readers for prejudging the game before playing it. D’Aprile goes on to post comments, now mysteriously deleted, that try to explain why he wrote the review he did… before closing with a few choice words likening the readers to basement-dwellers. To top it off, David Jaffe chose to respond as well, letting D’Aprile & G4 know that regardless of what score they gave the game, they need to be more considerate of those who actually read the website.
It’s a lesson in trolling, as in not letting it get to you to the point where you lose control.
