Will you buy a Nintendo 3DS now?
When Nintendo unveiled the 3DS at E3 2010, the gaming media and fans collaborated on a giant game-gasm of love for the device. Then, the price was announced. $250. Then, the portable released with few games and no online structure. Then, the game delays began (Metal Gear Solid 3D, a few Sega games). Then, the sales numbers came in, and the device wasn’t doing so well. In fact, it was performing so poorly that Nintendo itself has today acknowledged that it fubar-ed the launch of its next Big Thing and will be dropping the price by a ginormous $80 to $169.99.
Our question to you: Is this enough to finally get you to purchase it, replacing the DS Lite or DSi that’s sitting on your shelf?
