Nintendo has had a… rocky relationship with third-party developers over the last few years. While several have been successful in the Wii market, “core” fans have felt left out. Nintendo recognized this, and unveiled several major third-party partnerships and games for the 3DS at their press conference yesterday.
Some games were shown with just a splash screen, while others were shown with small clips of gameplay. Below, we have a list of those shown, all at different levels of release, but thankfully-accepted levels of welcome.
- Resident Evil: Mercenaries
- Resident Evil: Revelations
- Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games
- Ace Combat 3D
- Tetris 3DS
- Cave Story 3D
- Driver Renegade
- Pac-Man
- Galaga Dimensions
- Tekken 3D
- Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
As I said, many of these games were announced with just the title being shown on screen, so details on the games are not available at this time. Check back in the next couple of days when we will have the info that you folks deserve.
