After showing off a Bioshock Infinite trailer (which was all made of in-game footage, mind you), Kev Levine took the stage at Sony’s Press Conference to discuss Move support and Bioshock Infinite. He talked about Sony wanting to make a believe out of him, with respect to motion controls. He shaped his hands in the form of a controller, and said he does “core games, Dual Shock stuff.” He said that he wouldn’t sacrifice the core audience to reach out to the motion control gamers. Sony said he didn’t have to.
It looks like Bioshock will most likely give players the choice of using a regular controller or a Move controller. Levine said that once Irrational was given a Move, they found some new, interesting ways to interact with the world. “The exciting part is that we’re just beginning to get our head around what [Move support] could mean [for Bioshock Infinite],” Levine said. So there will be Move support, but they’re still figuring it out.
Levine ended his talk with a tease. He said that Irrational Games has been thinking of another game for years. The game will be set in the Bioshock universe, and it will be for the Vita. No other details were provided.
