During the Q&A portion of the PSN conference today, Sony was asked if the PSN vulnerability was known. Kaz Hirai responded that it indeed a vulnerability was known, but unknown to what extent.
I really don’t know what to say to that. How is a vulnerability like that known about, yet no attempts to fix it are made? Also, how do you not tell your 70 million users that this hole exists and their personal information is not safe? Well, I know how they wouldn’t say the second part, but that is pathetic.
We will follow up with this topic specifically, as it is extremely disturbing to us.
