What you see above is the epic trailer Nintendo released at GDC 2011 of the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The game looks like a lot of fun, with high production values, eye-catching visuals, and stunning music.
The music. Hmm. It’s epic in its own right, but at the same time perfectly Zelda. Now, some 3 months after GDC, intrepid Zelda fans have discovered something that may be even more epic than the trailer itself: The theme music played backwards reveals a familiar tune, forever linked to the series since the N64.
Leave it to Nintendo to hide an Easter Egg in plain sight, much like they do in nearly all of their video games, for fans to discover much, much later.
