The recently expired countdown on both Mass Effect2 and Dragon Age websites has lead to a rather unexpected, yet welcome reveal. Bioware announced an online auction for 400+ pieces of shwag, giving you an opportunity to score anything from a “Griffon hat” to a $2,000 custom Mass Effect 2 artwork desktop computer, naming the auction the ‘BioWare Bazaar’
Even with some items valued as high as $2,000, gamers need not worry about the state of their wallet, but only their willingness to partake in several different BioWare ‘challenges’. These challenges range from registering copies of BioWare’s games, to answering quiz-like questions pertaining to said games. Participation grants you tokens which you then use to bid on the available goodness. Other, daily challenges will be made public via the @biofeed on Twitter, strating at 9:00 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, April 5 and run roughly every 15 minutes through 4:00 p.m. PDT on Saturday, April 10.
Lawyering note: You must be a resident of the United States of America and the District of Columbia (Excluding the states of Florida and New York) and you must be at least 18 years old to enter.
P.S. Seeing as you can’t bargain with either of the Doctors, this is more of a raffle than a Bazaar, but we appreciate the alliteration.
