You really have to give videogamers an incredible amount of props. As fans we’ll go through all manner of lengths to inject gaming into our lives, whether at school or work, or things more sinister. We recently took a look at the Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy movie created almost entirely by students and young professionals out of love for the series. The film Turbo was inspired by fighting games like Street Fighter.
Now comes a project inspired by the many unique quips of Team Fortress 2. Created by student and Youtube member thrillhouse900 the short film features characters from Team Fortress 2 in a decidedly mundane world, and includes some CGI work thrown in to create the sentry. The film is only about a minute in length, but captures the essence of the game in that Mega64 kind of way.
And the comments, of course, are priceless.
mediocregatsby88: a red engineer makes a red sentry that kills a red scout and then gets killed by a red spy? AND YOU PLAN TO BEAT THE BLUES HOW?
