Remember E308? Remember the Microsoft press conferance where Bethesda announced the EXCLUSIVITY of the first 3 Fallout3 DLC pack for the Microsoft platforms (read PC & Xbox360). Do you remember how you rejoyced because other people in the world who decided to buy somthing different are getting screwed? do you? you’re an asshole.
Bethesda announced this fateful morn, that the 3 released DLC packs; Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, and Broken Steel, will be headed to PS3 in late June, with Op.A. hitting first, and the rest following suit 4-6 weeks latter.
Along with that exciting announcement, Bethesda announced 3 more retail releases of Fallout, which are:
-Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on May 26.
-The Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC in August.
-A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99 for PC.
And, in what is definitely NOT a case of blowing your entire load all at once, Bethesda confirmed rumors of 2 new Fallout DLCs, coming to both Xbox and PC (Sorry Sony) in June.
The two packs are”
“Point Lookout” – a massive swamp area, with new quests and content (I speculate this being ‘Knights of the Nine’ sized)
&
“Mothership Zeta” – prepare to be abducted, anally violated, and who knows what else… (I speculare this being “Mehrunes’ Razor” sized)
Are you excited?
